Erythromycin 500mg is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections. It works by stopping susceptible bacteria from producing the proteins they need to grow and multiply. It may be prescribed for respiratory tract, skin and soft-tissue, and other susceptible bacterial infections.
