Co-Micardis is a prescription medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains a combination of telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, while hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (“water tablet”) that helps the body remove excess salt and water.
