CoAprovel Tablets is an oral antihypertensive medication containing a combination of two active ingredients: Irbesartan (300 mg) and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg). It is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medication.

As a combination therapy, it works through two mechanisms: Irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, relaxes blood vessels by blocking a hormone that causes them to tighten. Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic (water pill), helps the kidneys remove excess salt and water from the body through urine. Together, they provide a more significant reduction in blood pressure than either drug used alone.
