Bilaxten is a prescription antihistamine medicine that contains bilastine 20mg. It is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, blocked nose, itchy eyes, skin itching, and hives (urticaria). It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic reactions. Bilaxten is considered a second-generation antihistamine and is generally less likely to cause drowsiness compared to older antihistamines.

Caution:

Use with caution if you have kidney problems or are taking other medicines that may interact with bilastine. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare professional before use.
